This is a copy of the email Ana sent:
My dear family, Thanks for your words and concerns. We had a bad time but gladly all the family is fine. We still have no electricity nor phone at home since friday, and also we have been at home, since the roads and highways are damaged in several places (and there is not much fuel available), so are without connections at home and could not see my mails nor send any message. Santiago is not so bad, though, the most affected area has been a little to the south. Mom & dad in La serena felt the earthquake, but no damages there. Thanks God they are all safe. I had to come to the office for a meeting to define actions according to the situation, and took the opportunity to charge my computer and connect to send this message. ( I could not connect to the blog), Thanks for your prayers. Many people here in Chile has been badly affected. We are very lucky. Love to your all, Ana, Fernando & family

Glenn and Linda arrived back into the USA ok. They were almost half way to Bucyrus already when I talked with them at 9:30am EST. They apparently got into Ohio early. They were very excited and speaking spanish to me. hahaha It really sounds like they had a great time.
Ana and Fernando, thank you so much for having Mom and Dad in your home and giving them this incredible opportunity to visit.
