1/25/2010-Well, today Glenn and Linda spent the afternoon at Columbus Airport. Their flight was grounded before they could board for Atlanta because of terrible thunderstorms and tornado warnings in the Atlanta area. They will spend the night with Gerald and Barb Leonhardt in Delaware and will arrive at the airport again tomorrow to try this again. They are suppose to leave Columbus at 2:54pm, arrive Atlanta 4:48pm, leave Atlanta 8:20pm and arrive Santiago, Chile 7:50am 1/27/10.

Too bad Mom & Dad could not get in that plane... here we are, down in Chile, waiting for them. The weather here is so different!! today we had around 90°F in Santiago, but it did not feel so bad by the pool. We will be waiting for Glen & Linda here!!!
ReplyDeleteMelanie, I think your dates are wrong. This is mon the 25th. Glenn and Linda will arrive in chile tue morn the 26th. Talked to Glenn from Atlanta, about 4pm. We got them to airport early and they got an earlier flight, leaving columbus about 1pm.
ReplyDeleteThey arrived!!!! After a long flight, Mom & Dad are already in our home in Santiago, resting after having a good breakfast. They are a little tired, so they will rest for a while to be ready to visit around. We are so happy of having them here... temperature is 80°F... just right to get some sun and go around. We will tell more later!
